Structural Engineer – Senior Level (Dublin)
Kppm are looking to recruit a Structural Engineer – Senior Level for our client a global provider of engineering who work on Life Sciences projects, pharmaceutical, semiconductor manufacturing, data centre facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities:
· You will be required to work within the structural team under the direction of a lead engineer.
· Duties may include undertaking design calculations and reports, attending internal design team meetings, attendance at client review meetings, checking structural drawings, etc.
· You will work as part of a civil and structural team of engineers and designers working to develop, coordinate and finalise structural design deliverables.
· Our client is a multi-discipline design service for our clients, allowing us deliver projects from concept to detailed design, and also supporting construction phases.
· You will work with an in-house discipline team as well as having engagement with our clients and construction management teams.
Education and Experience
· Suitable candidates must have a Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
· 8+ years experience in the design of building structures preferably on Life Sciences projects
· Familiar and competent with all aspects of structural design and be proficient with Eurocode design
· Competency with structural design software (we typically use STAAD / Tekla / Robot)
· Have experience working on multi discipline design projects, and have used Navisworks / Revistu softwares
· Have good communication skills
· Industrial design experience a plus
· Be able to provide mentorship / guidance to junior engineers
· Attend internal design team and model review meetings
Hybrid working options
This is a Contract for Services role and the hourly rate is €negotiable depending on experience.
