Architect – Junior Level – Conservation / Restoration projects (Dublin)
kppm are recruiting for an Architect – (Junior Level) to work on Conservation / Restoration Projects with an award winning architectural practice, you will be mentored and contribute to a multi-disciplinary major projects design team.
Our client is a forward-thinking architectural practice with long-term professional and career development opportunities and a supportive studio environment.
Projects include the restoration and conservation of heritage buildings, country houses and castles in Ireland. You must have a keen interest in developing and building their expertise in the area of Conservation and restoration
Education & Experience
· Suitable candidates must hold a 3rd level Degree and have a genuine and keen interest in building expertise in the area of Conservation and restoration, whilst background experience is desirable it is not a necessity
· Proficient user of software relevant to specific tasks, with the ability to engage with various packages
· The ability to draw by hand, as well as use relevant software
· Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
· Excellent organisational skills, the ability to plan and work to agreed timelines, a thorough, diligent approach to work and driven to see things through to completion
· Willingness to take advantage of development opportunities
· The ability to think systematically, to interpret complex information and prioritise important tasks is essential
· The ability to work under one’s own initiative and instruction is essential
