Job Description

Building Commissioning Engineer (LEED Sustainable Buildings) Dublin.

To work  as an integral member of an expanding international consulting team based in Dublin influencing sustainability and LEED projects, principally involved with LEED Commissioning, and Measurement & Verification.  You will also be involved in local building regulation compliance, analysis for planning applications and LEED Energy modelling.

If you are interested you will also have the opportunity (optional) to work internationally and spend portions or extended periods of time in different global locations.

Ideally applicants will have the following education and as much experience possible from the list below:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (building services, mechanical, or similar) or demonstrable equivalent.
  • of 3 years professional experience, including HVAC design, on-site project experience.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret design and construction documents, including building floor plans, mechanical plans and schedules, sections, construction specifications, shop drawings, and operating sequences.
  • Experience in LEED Commissioning from early Design Stage review to project completion and handover, including Fundamental Commissioning and Verification and Enhanced Commissioning with good knowledge of requirements of the LEED process.
  • Awareness of the fundamental concept of LEED Commissioning.
  • Knowledge of the ASHRAE standards from which the design of LEED systems is based around.
  • Active involvement in the documentation stage especially around the M&E design Review, Submittals Review and LEED Online upload documentation.
  • Attention to detail critical in review and compilation of documents.
  • Good knowledge of Building Management Systems and the interoperability between M&E plant and systems.
  • On site experience in the Testing and Verifications of M&E systems essential.
  • Knowledge of energy auditing and reporting for the delivery of energy savings to clients.
  • Strong Computer Skills including Proficiency in MS Office suite
