Building Services Engineer ‘s Construction installation /Coordination
We are looking to recruit a number of Building Services Engineers Mechanical & Electrical for a tier 1 main contractor working on the shell and core construction and installation of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services on large scale commercial Mixed use, Educational, Healthcare and Hi Tech Industrial construction projects in Dublin.
Suitable Candidates: Will have relevant 3rd level engineering degree preferably Building Services + a minimum of 3+ years working with a main contractor. candidates originally from a trade background who went back to college to get a degree would ideally suit these roles or someone who worked in a Consultancy (design) and moved into construction. Strong relevant IT Systems experience and a strong knowledge of AutoCAD is required. Proven ability to work in a team. You will be a self-starter and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Role/Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring all building services are coordinated with other construction activities, from specification and procurement through to the installation, testing and commissioning of services in a variety of commercial, industrial, educational, and healthcare buildings.
Duties also include being knowledgeable with specifications, service drawings, architectural and structural details, liaising with design teams, coordinating subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with Company standards and programme, the timely submission of O & M manuals and other ad hoc duties such as assisting in the preparation of detailed tender documentation.
