Civil & Structural CAD Technician – (Dublin)

Kppm are looking to recruit a Civil & Structural CAD Technician for our client who specialise in the design of building structures and related civil engineering works across the following sectors: Commercial, Educational, Healthcare, Industrial, Residential, Civic buildings, Data Centre and Fit-Out projects.

You will work under the supervision of Senior Technicians and Engineers preparing civil / structural engineering design drawings for a wide range of projects. Your work will include the preparation of planning, tender and construction documents.

Education & Experience

·        Suitable candidates must have a 3rd. level qualification and a minimum of 3+ years AutoCAD experience working in a civil and structural design office. 

·        An excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD.

·        REVIT / BIM experience is not essential.

·        A proactive approach to solving problems with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios

·        A thorough understanding of construction materials and construction methodology.

·        Candidates need to have experience in Civils 3D, AutoCAD on roads, drainage and building infrastructure projects. 

·        Experience of producing detail drawings in roads, infrastructure, drainage and utilities

·        Excellent communication skills

·        Strong planning and organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

·        Strong IT Skills is a must.

This is a full time staff position and salary is €Negotiable depending on experience.
