Senior Contracts Manager (Galway)
Requirements
- A minimum 7+ years’ experience in construction on public works projects
- A minimum 5 years in management
- Must have a degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget & to specification
- Comprehensive knowledge of EHS legislation & regulations
- Self-motivated, hardworking & driven
- Excellent negotiation skills essential
- Ability to manage, motivate, supervise, evaluate, coach, train & develop team
- Good contractual & commercial awareness
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors and inhouse staff
- A key leader in the development and growth of the company
- Ability to represent the company in a professional & efficient manner
- Familiar with MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of MS Project, forms of Contract & Building Regulations
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation of the company’s quality standards and procedures and adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety
- EHS Management
- Site set up, appearance and management
- Quality, Cost, Progress and Programme
- Management of all resources – subcontractors, materials, staff
- Relations with client, design team and others
- Undertake regular formal inspections of sites and consultants work in accordance with company policy
- Prepare progress reports and technical reports for clients and for internal use
