CSA Construction Lead – Pharmaceutical project (Dundalk)

Kppm are looking to recruit a CSA Construction Lead to work on a pharmaceutical construction project for our client a global provider of engineering who work on pharmaceutical, semiconductor manufacturing, data centre facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

The CSA Construction Lead will be assigned to a project as a senior member of the Construction Team with responsibility for the proper and timely construction of the CSA work elements, in accordance with the detailed engineering design, specifications, the project schedule, cost control estimate and contract.

The duties of the Project CSA Construction Lead will include:

·         Responsible for the supervision and management of all Site CSA Staff including construction superintendents, trade supervisors and sub-contractors in line with the project Health and Safety plan

·         Assisting the Project CM with Constructability Reviews and Interactive planning sessions with the Client and Design Team.

·         Work with other Discipline Construction Leads to bring a co-ordinated and engaging problem solving and solution driven approach to the field.

·         Input into the Design Team through squad check and package constructability reviews for all CSA scope elements.

·         Ensures that the construction phase of the projects is adequately provided with suitably capable, qualified and experienced personnel, together with all the necessary plant, tools, temporary facilities and other resources.

·         Ensuring all CSA construction works comply with the construction methods, procedures and practices in all respects, particularly those relating to quality assurance, safety, personnel and industrial relations.

·         Ensures that the applicable statutory and other legal requirements are properly observed.

Education and Experience

·         Suitable candidates will have a minimum of 6+ years working as a CSA Supervisor in a supervision capacity managing all aspects of Civil, Structural and Architectural through to project  handover.

Degree qualified preferred in Civil or Structural Engineering / Architectural or equivalent.
Pharmaceutical  experience is highly desirable.
This is a Contract for Services role and the hourly rate is €negotiable depending on experience.
