Job Description

Suitable candidates must have:

• Degree in Ecology or related Ecology survey experience
• Be eligible for CIEEM Membership
• Be Safe Pass Registered.
• Working knowledge of the relevant Irish and EU legislation.
• Strong IT Skills
• Be capable of managing a challenging workload that is subject change at short notice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven capability to write clear concise reports.
• Full clean driving licence

Desirable to have:

• Full CIEEM Membership
• Postgraduate degree
• Protected Species licence
• Ability to identify health and safety hazards

Role:

• Review of method statements and technical documents
• On-site checks of mitigation measures
• Logistic planning and problem solving
• Surveying and biological data collection
• Report Writing

As an Ecological Clerk of Works, you will be supported as part of our clients Ecology Team in Dublin. Reaching back to the UK, ecology team with currently over a hundred strong with the technical ability as well as career mentoring to ensure your continued professional development while you work with them our client will provide the resources to turn great ideas into reality, and they are looking for a talented and passionate environmental professional to be part of the delivery team on a flagship road scheme.

Terms:  This is a minimum of 6 x Month Contract.  Hourly rate of pay is up to €26.50 (Self Employed – Ltd Company) depending on experience.  Or Salary per year up to: €43,500 depending on experience.
