Electrical Design Engineer (Dublin)  kppm are looking to recruit  a suitable candidate to work for our client a global Engineering Company working on Hi Tech: Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical and Data Center Project for a role working on Semiconductor projects.

Suitable Applicants:  Will have a 3rd level diploma or preferably a degree Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering plus a minimum of 3+ years experience of: Electrical Design on large scale Hi Tech Projects: Semiconductor and or Pharmaceutical and or Data center. Preferably: Semiconductor.

Experience of: BIM,  Design Calculations software and Computerised Building Management Systems

Broad experience in the design, installation and management of building services including all associated legislation and practices.

Health and safety Legislation.

Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure and on own initiative

Strong organisational, communication, interpersonal and customer care skills.

Current full driving licence.

Role: The primary purpose of the role is to assist the Engineering team in achieving the objectives of the company with respect to Electrical Engineering designs for Base Build, Layout Development and Tool install for a Semiconductor projects to ensure maximum commercial and technical effectiveness and efficiency is maintained.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Based on plan of record and reference Designs, develop Engineering plans, sections and details for complex projects involving the design of Electrical Services for advanced technology, Clean rooms, Process Facilities.
  • Activity update and refine Safety in Design Risk Assessments, specifications and checklists as related to the Electrical Engineering Discipline
  • Responsible for safety posture and results for areas of responsibility on projects.
  • Ensure that company safety policies and site specific plans are proactively communicated and consistently enforced where needed on each project.
  • Work collaboratively and utilize EHS Staff as a resource for strategic and tactical implementation of EHS processes and procedures
  • Participate in CERT and HAZMAT training and teams as required.
  • Developing detailed Electrical Services construction drawings using architectural and or Industrial Engineering background layouts and system performance requirements defined by Electrical Engineer.

 Remuneration:  Salary Package is negotiable depending on experience.
