Health and Safety Officer (Dublin)

kppm are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Office for our client a long established and recognised leading construction main contractor in Ireland.

Suitable applicants will have as a Minimum: 

A Diploma / Degree in Health and Safety  plus a minimum of 3 years experience  (Ideally 3 to 5 years experience) working as a Health and Safety Officer for a Construction Main Contractor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management of EHS Management System on site to comply with legislation, company procedures and OHSAS 18001 / ISO 14001.

Promote a positive H&S culture on site with Site Management, Contractors and workers.

Monitor EHS compliance on site and generating weekly inspections & reports.

Management of subcontractor documentation including RAMS review etc.

Maintain and update of relevant EHS plans and documents on site, eg. H&S Plan, Fire & Emergency Plan, Environmental Plan, SWMP etc.

Liaise with and providing advice to Site Management.

Chair EHS meetings on site.

Liaise with Client, PSDP and design team as required.

Deliver site inductions and tool box talks.

You will report to: The company Health and Safety Manager

Salary Negotiable: Depending on experience.
