Job Description

Piping Designer for a site base role on a state-of-the-art API  pharmaceutical manufacturing facility based in Cork.

Suitable Candidates must have:  Strong experience with process and mechanical piping systems in Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences and have complete understanding and application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field.

Role:

• Develop 3D modelling and supporting of complex process and mechanical piping systems given basic information such as P&ID’s, piping specifications, equipment arrangement drawings, etc.
• Perform field design work/site surveys to identify current conditions/tie-ins as required.
• Prepare material take-offs for cost estimates and material procurement during concept and basis of design phases.
• Prepare conceptual designs, feasibility studies etc
• Review/comment on vendor drawings.
• Be proactive in co-ordination with other disciplines.
• Strong work ethic with good communications skills required.

Terms:  This is a long-term role for 1+ year offered on either an Hourly Rate Contract FOR Service or on our payroll on a Fixed Term contract and Rate or Salary is currently negotiable depending on experience.
