PROCESS ENGINEER (Dublin South) with: High Volume Manufacturing experience

Kppm are looking to recruit a Process Engineer to work for our client a blue chip international Medical Device/Pharmaceutical Manufacturing client based in South county Dublin

Candidates must have a relevant 3rd level degree and a minimum of 4+ years experience of high speed Automation projects for high Volume Manufacturing.  Medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.

Proven ability to deliver projects from concept stage through to handover

Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with engineering development teams.

Excellent Communication Skills oral and written

Technical Writing ability.

As Process Engineer with our client you will manage the completion of multiple concurrent projects within the development engineering function from concept to completion including: Support the introduction of new equipment and processes including debugging, acceptance trials, process development, final validation and ramp.

Proactively manage vendor from design through to the acceptance phase of the project, ensuring workmanship and performance are of the highest standards.

Execute process improvements through identification of problem areas/opportunities and collaboration with internal groups and external vendors.

Engage with vendors on the design, development and evaluation of processes and equipment requiring novel and innovative approaches in technology.

Liaise with Quality and R&D teams in the introduction of new equipment and development of NPI and CI projects.

End to end project management for assigned projects including developing detailed project plan, tracking project, identifying/managing risks, tracking budget spend and updating stakeholders as required.

Plan, execute and analyse experimental builds, ensuring product specification and project goals are met.

Support any Technology Transfer activity, including planning, execution, validation and ramp of equipment.

Design-in health, safety and environmental best practice and ensure that all work is completed in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.

Ensure any Intellectual Property aspects of development are identified and protected in conjunction with the Corporate Legal group.

Support above activity through multi-week travel assignments.
