Process Engineer (s) Dublin
kppm looking for a number of process engineers for our client a large international pharmaceutical manufacturing client based in Dublin.
We are looking to recruit at all levels Inc.: Junior Level with 1 to 2 years experience, Intermediate Level with 3 to 6 years experience, Senior Level with 7+ years experience
Suitable candidates will have a Third level qualification in Chemical – Process Engineering or Science related field and have the relevant number of years experience working as a Process engineer in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing plant and candidates with API or Fill / Packaging experience are preferred.
Candidates must have knowledge and experience in using LSS Methodologies with a track record of process improvement (candidates who have green belt certification would have a distinct advantage) Problem solving, Data Analysis , Process Mapping , Visual Mapping.
Commissioning and Qualification of Equipment
Change control and investigation writing.
Pharmaceutical Process Plant Project Management
Purpose: Primarily to work on current bulk and fill/packaging processes and drive improvements by working closely with cross functional teams using operational excellence methodologies such as data analysis and problem solving.
The role will also involve some project management dealing with the sourcing, installation, Commissioning & Qualification and handover of new equipment to operations.
Main duties and experience required:
Define manufacturing processes and provide process improvements to all products.
Define and validate new manufacturing processes for upgrades to existing products
Support production issues with root cause analysis and failure mode elimination.
Compile Work Instructions, Calibrations, Equipment Instructions & Quality Forms.
Issue Corrective Action Reports with defects & root cause analysis.
Support mechanical/electrical jigs, fixtures and purpose built test equipment.
Process analysis, throughput, yield and Product Quality reporting.
Assist with start-up, qualification & introduction of new products & processes.
Design new processes and equipment layouts to improve production efficiency and utilisation.
Develop equipment documentation for the following – FMEA / Preventive Maintenance / Calibration / Safety Competency & Operating Procedures.
Provided engineering support for machines in the event of major breakdowns.
Execute continuous improvement projects using six sigma & lean methodologies.
Work to resolve customer / product quality issues & record corrective actions taken.
Provided engineering support for new product introduction.
