Scheduler/Planner (Dublin)

kppm are looking to recruit a Scheduler / Planner with strong P6 and MS Project experience for our client:  a long established and leading  Civil/ Structural/ Environmental/ Transportation Consulting Engineering Company in Ireland and who have a repetition for delivering projects on time and within budget.

The project is a large scale Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion project in Dublin and is currently at construction stage.

This is an expansion to the existing plant that was completed in 2003 and provides for treatment of the wastewater to a secondary standard for a nominal/design load of 1.64 Million Population Equivalent (PE). The expanded plant will provide for treatment of the wastewater to a secondary standard for a nominal/design load of 2.4 Million Population Equivalent (PE)

Suitable applicants will have a relevant 3rd Level degree in Engineering or Construction Management and have a minimum of: 10 years’ post graduate relevant experience on Civil and Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Works. Working as a Scheduler / Planner or similar projects.

You will be proficient in the use of programming software systems (e.g. Primavera P6 and MS Project, etc) and packages and demonstrate high proficiency in developing and maintaining progress databases including gathering information from various sources and reporting on progress, milestone projections, delay / float analysis, resource and cost / value analysis.

Proven experience to undertake all of the duties and tasks assigned to you by the ER and you will  be required to administer and supervise the contract during construction.

Liaise with the appointed Project Manager with regard to Capital Delivery throughout the Construction period.

Comply with the requirements of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act (2005) and the General Application Regulations 2007 and perform your duties in accordance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013.

IN addition there will be extensive liaison with The end user client at the P6 reporting end, with production of regular costed programme updates a minimum requirement for the project.
