Site Engineer  – School Project –   Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath
Kppm are looking to recruit a Site Engineer in Co. Galway to work with a well-established team on a prestigious project. You will be involved from the start of the project. This is a great opportunity to be part of an expanding team.
Our client an award winning Construction Company who work on a variety of prestigious projects: Commercial, Design & Build, Educational, Fit-out, Healthcare, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Residential, Retail and Sports projects.

Job Responsibilities
Supporting Site Manager/PM in day to day site functions
Strong understanding of quality, safety and environmental standards in executing and development of a project
Coordination of sub contractors
Monitor and control of health and safety standards on site
Carry out site inductions as required
Liaise with the design team on construction issues
Raise RFIs with the design team
Issue requisitions for materials
Maintain the site diary / daily log activities
Monitor and control quality / work standards on site
Manage concrete quality, taking cubes / slump tests on site & recording results
Maintain goods received register
Requirements
Suitable candidates must be Degree qualified Engineer with 4+ years experience (preferably with a main contractor)
Strong Setting Out/Levels experience
Services experience an advantage
Structural steel construction experience
Building experience – Commercial/Industrial
Knowledge of BIM an advantage

This is a full time staff position and salary is €Negotiable depending on experience.
