Site Engineer – Pharmaceutical Project (Galway)

Kppm are looking to recruit a Site Engineers to work with a well-established team on a prestigious project. You will be involved from the start of the project. This is a great opportunity to be part of an expanding team.

Our client an award winning Construction Company who work on a variety of prestigious projects: Commercial, Design & Build, Educational, Fit-out, Healthcare, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Residential, Retail and Sports projects.

 Responsibilities

·        Supporting Site Manager/PM in day to day site functions

·        Strong understanding of quality, safety and environmental standards in executing and development of a project

·        Coordination of sub contractors

·        Monitor and control of health and safety standards on site

·        Carry out site inductions as required

·        Liaise with the design team on construction issues

·        Raise RFIs with the design team

·        Issue requisitions for materials

·        Maintain the site diary / daily log activities

·        Monitor and control quality / work standards on site

·        Manage concrete quality, taking cubes / slump tests on site & recording results

·        Maintain goods received register

Education & Experience

·        Suitable candidates must be a Degree qualified Engineer with 4+ years experience (preferably with a main contractor)

·        Strong Setting Out/Levels experience

·        Services experience an advantage

·        Structural steel construction experience

·        Building experience – Commercial/Industrial

·        Knowledge of BIM an advantage

This is a full time staff position and salary is €Negotiable depending on experience.
