Site Manager – Pharmaceutical Project – (Galway)

Kppm are looking to recruit a Site Manager to work with a well-established team on a prestigious project. You will be involved from the start of the project. This is a great opportunity to be part of an expanding team.

Our client an award winning Construction Company who work on a variety of prestigious projects: Commercial, Design & Build, Educational, Fit-out, Healthcare, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Residential, Retail and Sports projects.

Responsibilities 

·        Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis

·        Ensure that work is done safely, on time and within budget and to the right quality standards

·        Monitor progress

·        Strong Finishing/Fit Out experience

·        Oversee delivery of materials

·        Carry out safety checks 

·        Sort out any problems as they arise

·        Keep in close contact with members of the site team at all times

·        Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and planners

·        Ensure that work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation as well as other legal requirements

·        Keep the client updated regularly on progress

Education & Experience

·        Suitable candidates must have a 3rd level Degree with  5+years site experience within the construction and building industry, preferably for a main contractor on high quality medium to large scale projects in various sectors Industrial, Health, Pharma, Commercial & Education.

·        Excellent organisation & time management skills

·        Proven track record of working to strict timescales

·        Excellent client facing skills

·        Thorough knowledge of building practices

This is a full time staff position and salary is €Negotiable depending on experience.
