Structural Design Engineer ‘s (Dublin)
kppm are the recruitment partner to our client a large multidiscipline international engineering company who are expanding their structural team in Ireland, and they are looking for experienced Structural Design Engineers to work on large scale Hi Tech Pharmaceutical projects.
The Role:
You will be working with a Lead engineer and wider design team to develop structural design and drawings for projects.
You will be responsible for developing and coordinating the structural design for specific elements on projects.
This will require you have a solid understanding of the Eurocodes, with a strong emphasis on steel framed structures.
You will get the opportunity to work in a multi discipline design office and you will be required to coordinate the structural design with the other disciplines.
The projects that you will be involved in are large scale pharmaceutical developments in Ireland and Continental Europe.
Ideal Candidates will have:
3rd Level degree in Structural Engineering with a minimum of 3+ year’s experience, Pharmaceutical Project Experience would be and advantage but not essential
You will have proven experience of working independently with little direction on structural design.
Have experience of design coordination using Navisworks or similar tools
Be proficient in STAAD / ROBOT / TEKLA
Good communication skills
Be able to communicate design intent to Revit designers using Bluebeam or similar tool
Dublin Office / Hybrid working from home options offered.
