Job Description

Structural Design  Engineer:  kppm are looking to recruit a Structural Engineer to work on a large-scale semiconductor plant project in Kildare/Dublin area.       This is a great opportunity to work for our client a leading international engineering company who work on large scale industrial hi tech projects for the Semiconductor & Pharmaceutical industries throughout the globe on a major semiconductor project in Ireland.

 Suitable candidates will have:  A relevant 3rd level degree preferably Structural Engineering and have a minimum of 5+ years working as a Structural Engineer on large scale Hi Tech Industrial projects preferably Semiconductor and or Pharmaceutical and have excellent problem-solving skills at Design and Construction stage.

 Main Duties will include:

  • Engineering review of the design of the tool location specific packages (LSP).
  • Resolve Structural Engineering and Architectural issues arising during the design of LSPs.
  • Resolve Structural issues raised by pedestal fabricator, Trades etc.
  • Review CSA applicable Client specifications.
  • Review and resolve any Ireland global CSA TI issues, including custom frames for fall arrest, supports to equipment etc.
  • Daily discussions with Clients, Tool Owners, System Owners, Design Managers, US Engineers (TICE etc.)
  • Support Ireland AE on any Structural issues arising outside of standard design process.

Terms:  This role can be offered on a Work from Home full time basis or Hybrid option that suits and either on a salary (payroll) or Contract FOR Services (Hourly Rate).  Salary or Rate are negotiable depending on experience.
