Senior Project Engineer ‘s MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL – Data Center Projects
Location: Dublin/Hybrid – Remote working options
Kppm are looking to recruit 2 x Senior Project Engineers (1 x Mechanical and 1 Electrical) for our client who are a leading multi award winning Mechanical & Electrical Consulting Engineers who work on: Data Centre Projects.
They also work on Commercial Mixed-Use projects, Hi-Tech, and Industrial sectors.
You will get to work with leading consulting engineers on large scale Data Center Projects. You will lead Data Center projects in EMEA, manage project delivery from conception all the way through to completion / client handover. Confidently managing and growing relationships.
You will have proven ability to manage project delivery from conception all the way through to completion / client handover.
Your expertise will expand beyond just the mechanical or electrical field, also including BMS/EPMS, Security and CSA. Excelling at project design planning to meet client expectations. You will also manage a team of support engineers, mentoring them in their professional development. With that will come the responsibility of ensuring all deliverables from the team align with our quality assurance systems prior to handover.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Mechanical or Electrical Services design on projects from Concept stage through to completion.
- Specification and design of Mechanical or Electrical Building Services systems.
- Continuous Design & Installation quality checks and control.
- Provide fully detailed tender packages / Tender report / Analysis / Recommendations.
- Develop project scope with design team and the client.
- Uphold the Mechanical or Electrical Design Standards within the organisation
- Mentoring of engineering staff.
Education & Experience:
- Suitable candidates must hold a degree or diploma in Building Services or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- You must have a minimum 8+ years of Mechanical or Electrical building services design experience.
- Deep understanding of CIBSE, BS, IS and EN Standards.
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and REVIT
- Knowledge of other engineering analysis software is an advantage.
- Lead Projects with minimal input from the management team.
- Experience leading & coordinating a team in the successful delivery of projects.
- Liaise with Clients, Architects and Project Managers
- Drive for Continuous Innovation and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
