Estimator (Construction Industry) Dublin  We are looking to recruit an Estimator for our client, a very well established construction main contractor working on large scale residential (Apartment schemes) and urbanism mixed use projects.  Who recognize that their people are their most important asset within their company and have a very strong team of dedicated individuals who work hard together to deliver for their clients.

Ideally candidates will have the following as a minimum:  A relevant 3^rd level degree i.e.: Quantify Surveying or Construction Project Management and have a minim of 4+ years experience working as an Estimator for a main contractor in the Irish Construction Industry.

You will report into the Estimation Director and have the following responsibilities:

• Managing the tender bid for receipt of tender enquiry to submission of final bid
• Undertaking careful inspection of tender documents including bills of quantities, specifications, drawings, contract etc.
• Sourcing Quotations from Subcontractors and Suppliers
• Carrying out tender site inspections
• Working closely with the Bid and Construction operations team in the tender process to prepare a coordinated response to site preliminaries requirements that are costed accordingly.
• Preparing cost plan and budget exercises.
• Detailed pricing and analysis of tenders
• Presenting tender settlement meeting to Directors
• Attending post-tender interviews and meetings
