Engineer / Maintenance Engineer (Junior level).  Are you a technically mined Maintenance Engineer, Engineer or Tradesperson who is a creative lateral thinker and problem solver?

Do you have a keen interest  in Aircraft and how they operate and function or  do you have a keen interest in mechanical and electrical functionality of engines and the workings of motor vehicles etc ?

Would you be excited about the prospect of joining a team of engineers working on a fleet of Aircraft Simulators used for training passenger aircraft pilots based in Dublin?

If you can answer yes to all the above, we have a fantastic Aircraft Simulation Engineering opportunity to discuss with you.

 

The main purpose of the role is to: maintain and repair flight training devices in accordance with Civil Aviation Authority requirements and company standards.

 

You will be part of a fantastic Engineering team who work hand in hand carrying out preventative maintenance and repair of flight simulators ensuring minimum downtime to pilot training programmes.

You will be given full on the job training initially intensive training from day 1 over a period of 4 to 6 weeks and then on an ongoing basis together with an excellent junior level salary ballpark of: €45k to €50k per year.

 

Suitable applicants:

Will have an engineering qualification or Trades qualification i.e.: Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical and you will have 2+ years experience working as a maintenance engineer or Engineer in a Hi-Tech manufacturing industry i.e.: Semiconductor.

Aircraft Simulation experience would be a distinct advantage  but not essential.

Experience of writing codes would be a distinct advantage but not essential.

You will have a technical mind and excel at problem solving and have a keen interest or hobby in the likes of maintaining or refurbishing the likes of vintage cars or similar type interests or  hobbies.
