4D Planner – Tier 1 Construction Main Contractor (Dublin)

Kppm are looking to recruit a planner with strong experience of 3D Modelling software.

Candidates will have experience working as a Planner coupled with 3D Modelling experience working on large scale mixed use construction projects. Candidates must have experience in SYNCHRO 4D Pro software and strong 3D modelling software experience coupled with Project Management Software i.e., Asta Powerproject, P6 Primavera + Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities:

·         Interface with 3D information from a variety of sources whilst being confident in a single package in order to create and manage temporary and groundworks model additions.

·         Use SYNCHRO 4D Pro to assign geometry to the programme and review and report findings to the project team.

·         Serve as a subject matter expert and be able to assist teams in the use of 4D Planning models and support the use of 4D across the business both technically and culturally.

·         Be able to run regular project team workshops and present developments and findings using the 4D model both to teams internally and where required to clients.

Education and Experience:

·         Suitable candidates must have a relevant degree and 3+ years of experience within the construction industry.

·         You must have experience in either construction planning or 3D modelling software is essential.

·         Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

·         Be familiar with a variety of construction methodologies and terminology

·         Proficiency generally in IT and digital processes.

Software Experience*

·         Demonstratable experience in at least one 3D Modelling package

·         Familiarity with planning software such as Asta Powerproject, P6 Primavera + MSP

·         Demonstratable experience in SYNCHRO 4D Pro software – this will be tested during the interview process

*A minimum of one of these is required and our client will work with the right candidate to develop skills in the other areas.
