ARCHITECT – Associate Director / Director Level – (Co. Cork)

Kppm are looking to recruit an Architect at Associate Director / Director level for a design led studio.

This is a great opportunity for a highly experienced senior level RIAI Architect with local knowledge and experience, to lead and develop an established architectural studio with offices in Ireland and London.

Our client work on educational, healthcare, and residential developments.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Architectural professional seeking to progress and take the lead for the strategic development of the Irish office. The practice aims to grow the business and build upon the success of the projects delivered to date.

Responsibilities

·         Review enquiries for services, prepare fee proposals and negotiate terms of engagement.

·         Monitor and report regularly to the other Directors job costings / profitability against fee income for individual projects.

·         Regularly determine and review the total programme/ resources required both within the practice and from outside sources.

·         Provide leadership and grow, mentor and develop the office.

·         Attract new business by building client relationships in the public and private sector.

·         Work collaboratively between the two offices.

Education and Experience

·         Suitable candidates must be a Degree qualified Architect.

·         Hold professional membership to the RIAI and have in excess of 10 years architectural experience post professional qualification.

·         Have previously been employed at a senior level within the Irish building and construction sector.

·         Proven track record of successfully delivering projects in Ireland.

·         Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation.

·         An understanding of and commitment to sustainable building design.

The office is currently located in Co. Cork with travelling to support projects is a requirement of the role.

Salary and benefits package will commensurate with experience and will include professional development, pension, healthcare package to suit the successful Architect. 

This is a staff position and the salary is €Negotiable depending on experience
