Document Controller (Using SharePoint) – Dublin/Construction kppm are looking to recruit a Document Controller to work for our client in the Public Sector working on Public Sector projects Educational and Health Care to work on a large-scale Campus project in Dublin. Main duties would be to Manage construction documentation to ensure quality, using SharePoint.
Suitable Candidates will have:
- Knowledge and understanding of the document control process at operational level is vital. Construction experience is preferred and would be a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge and experience of using SharePoint is essential. (SharePoint power user experience a distinct advantage).
- Understanding and the management of data in line with GDPR and ensure compliance.
- IT literate and a good understanding of computer software.
- Ability to prioritise workload when managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet project targets.
- Great attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring construction documentation has been named, uploaded and filed correctly in SharePoint.
- Create and ensure all registers are up to date and completed correctly.
- Maintaining documentation in SharePoint e.g. site, library, folder.
- Restructure existing files to current naming convention.
- Maintain, develop and document Documents Controller processes and procedures (via process maps, Infographics or videos).
- Upskill, train and work 1 to 1 with staff to ensure procedures are understood and followed correctly. Support the Project Team with the workflow process, RFI, CO, Site Instructions.
- Implement GDA’s GDPR policy.
- Support the creation of tenders, safety files and handover information.
The role is initially for 6 months fixed term contact, but this may be extended or become a permanent role in the future however this is a fantastic opportunity to work for best in class in an ISO Structured and sophisticated environment where you will gain valuable experience.
