Job Description
Senior electrical Engineer to lead on Datacentre Projects from concept design through to project handover. A fantastic opportunity to lead as an: Electrical Engineer large-scale Hi-Tech Datacentre Projects.
Suitable candidates will have a relevant 3rd level Engineering Degree preferably Electrical Building Services with a minimum of 8+ years experience strong Design Consultancy and Client Facing experience.
Experience working on Data Centre projects from Concept Design Stage through to handover would be preferable and be able to work across and with all the following disciplines: Electrical, BMS/EPMS, Security and CSA. Proficient in Amtech, Dialux design software.
Expert knowledge in the following Electrical Design Areas: Lighting & Emergency Lighting, Small Power and Data, Fire Alarm, CCTV & Intruder Alarms MV/LV Power Distribution , Containment and BMS.
You will have excellent communication skills coupled with strong experience of managing design teams including Engineers, BIM Technicians and Administrators to deliver high quality projects on time and within budget.
Excellent report writing skills and ability to explain complex engineering issues clearly.
Knowledge of Irish and European Standards (training can be given)
