Lead I&C – Instrument & Controls Engineer (Cork) We are looking to recruit a lead Instrument and Controls Engineer for a lead role (Lead site team executing small projects) based on site on a large-scale State of the Art Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility based in Carrigaline Cork for our client an international consulting engineers who design and project manage the construction of large-scale pharmaceutical projects and manage internal small project for them on an ongoing basis throughout the globe.
Suitable applicants will have a relevant 3rd level Engineering degree and have progressed their careers organically through work experience and further education to the level of lead Instrument and Controls Engineer and have a minimum of 4 to 5 years at Lead level delivering the I&C scope on large scale Pharmaceutical Projects or similar type hi tech industrial projects. As the Lead Instrument and Controls Engineer your general Responsibilities will include:
- Lead site team executing small projects.
- Lead and supervising other engineers as required.
- Attend meetings and interface regularly with clients, project managers and various multi-discipline leads to develop the scope of the project.
- Ensure I&C scope is delivered as per the schedule and executed within the available budget .
- Develop Detailed Design deliverables and construction packages for I&C contractors.
Initially for a fixed term 1 year contract but with the exception to be on going longer term. The role can be offered PAYE on our Payroll Salary Negotiable or with us on a Contract for Services / Limited Company basis and Hourly Rate is also negotiable depending on experience.
