Mechanical Design Engineer, Dublin

 

We are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer for our client a multi award winning consulting engineers working on Data Centre Projects in Ireland and throughout the globe and working with some of the largest blue chip technical clients in the world this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly qualified and experienced technical Data Centre team who are trained to work on these prestigious projects.

 

Suitable Applicants will have:

Minimum Qualifications:

Honours Degree in Building Services Engineering
Essential Experience:

2+ years working as a Design Engineer and have some recent experience working on Data Centre Projects.

You will have a wider knowledge base of other disciplines such as Electrical, BMS/EPMS, Security and CSA.

Proven ability to work on your own initiative.

Experience in a client and design team facing role.

Excellent communication skills both verbal (English language) and written.

Well organised and be competent in project design planning to meet our client’s deliverable expectations.

Deep understanding of CIBSE, ASHRAE, BS, IS and EN Standards.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Software

Working knowledge of Bluebeam, AutoCad and REVIT.

Any other engineering analysis software is an advantage

 

Role Requirements

Mechanical Services design on projects from concept stage to completion.

Specification and design of Mechanical Building Services systems.

Develop project scope with design team / client.

Uphold the Mechanical design standards within the organisation.
