Principal Planner – Energy & Planning Team – (Cork, Dublin, Carlow).

Kppm are looking to recruit a Principal Planner to join the Energy & Planning team for our client who deliver projects in Renewable Energy, Urban Development, Civil Infrastructure and Waste & Resource Management.

You will work as an integral member of the Planning team, aiding the expansion of the Planning business and working closely with fellow professionals. Working alongside the full range of technical disciplines on some of the largest and complex renewable energy, infrastructure, urban development and waste projects.

This position offers exposure to the significantly expanding Irish renewable energy sector.

Education & Experience

·         Suitable candidates must have a Degree and/or Masters in Town Planning

·         Minimum of 7 years experience

·         Extensive town planning experience and expert knowledge of planning and environmental legislation

·         Corporate/Chartered Member of the IPI/RTPI

·         Experience of preparing and submitting planning applications, drafting reports, feasibility studies, masterplans and planning strategies for a wide range of projects

·         Experience of working with a range of client bodies including both private sector and public sector

·         Previous experience of having an active role in the delivery of varied environmental projects

·         Experience in overseeing, and/or project managing multidisciplinary projects

·         Experience of team working to support the delivery of projects
