Project Engineer – Fire Engineering / Sprinkler Systems (Dublin)

kppm are looking to recruit a Project Engineer for our client an established Fire Engineering / Sprinkler Systems company who provide and maintain fire safety systems ensuring their clients are adequately protected from the threat of fire.

Our client is a specialist in the Fire Protection market and offer a full range of Fire Protection solutions including Automatic Sprinkler, Deluge Water-Spray, Foam Extinguishing, Gas Suppression, Fire Alarm and Passive Fire Protection Systems.

Responsibilities

Predominantly an office based role with the purpose of providing support to the Fire detection division.

The suitable person will have a diverse role within the company and will include but not be limited to

·         System design

·         Bid preparation and tender returns

·         Management of health & safety files and to include preparation of specific method statements and risk assessments

·         Procurement of material

·         Management and negation with subcontractors

·         Site visits to work closely with field based engineers

·         Preparation of O&M manuals

Education and Experience:

·         Self-starter that can work with little or no supervision

·         Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly

·         Experience in installation of electrical systems and Full Drivers Licence

·         Basic knowledge of AutoCAD

·         Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft office
