Project Liaison Officer – Roads Project (Limerick)

Kppm are looking to recruit a Project Liaison Officer for our client an International Engineering company with a portfolio of high-profile projects with the Transport Infrastructure Ireland, the National Transport Authority, the DAA and Local Authorities.

You will provide a point of contact between the council and affected landowners.

You will be based in the National Road Design Office and will carry out project liaison duties related to each of the schemes as agreed with the Project Manager:

1.      Provide information to stakeholders affected by the Project;

2.      Agree access to privately owned lands for Contractors carrying out advance works and surveys as part of the Project;

3.      Agree the nature and extent of accommodation works required for each affected stakeholder for inclusion in the Project design;

4.      Assess the accuracy of land ownership records held by the Local Authority and confirm these records with individual stakeholders.

5.      Make all reasonable enquiries to establish the identity of land owners.

Education & Experience

·        Suitable candidates Level 7 qualification in Engineering or other relevant discipline.

·        Minimum experience is 5 or more years’ experience on infrastructure projects, as Landowner Liaison on a road project with a construction value of at least €20 million (ex VAT);

·        Must hold a full drivers licence.

·        Access to their own vehicle

·        Candidates must have good communication skills.

·        Good organisational and time management skills, be able to prioritise work

·        Excellent customer service skills, experience in resolving non-complex complaints

This is a Contract for Services role and the hourly rate is €negotiable depending on experience.
