Senior Architect – Education + Healthcare projects (Dublin & Waterford)

Kppm is looking to recruit a Senior Architect for our client an award winning, multi-disciplinary practice. You will work on Education and Healthcare projects delivering large complex projects in this area of public sector construction.

You will be offered the opportunity to work on local and international large-scale projects for multinational clients on: Data Centres and Technology, Manufacturing and Logistics, Commercial, Life Sciences, Education and Healthcare, Workplace and Interiors.

Please note that this role can operate out of any of our Irish offices (Dublin & Waterford).

Responsibilities

·         You will support the  Education and Healthcare Leads to expand the sector and leverage the significant opportunities available nationally.

·         Your responsibilities will include: Sales, Management and Delivery.

·         The role will focus on project delivery and business development and will be involved in sales activities; preparing for pitches, developing feasibility studies and business cases to support as well as design delivery and implementation a good technical knowledge of GCCC contracts.

·         You will work with the Sector Associate to design and deliver projects through all stages.

·         You will run a project team and mentor junior staff.

·         You will ensure coordination of information from the Design Team and other project consultants.

Education & Experience

·         Suitable candidates must hold a Bachelor or higher degree of Architecture or Architecture Technology or industry related equivalent.

·         You must be a member of the RIAI, CIAT, or other national/international equivalent of registration for architects, interior designers or architectural technologists for a minimum of 5 years.

·         You must have public sector experience, demonstrating a good working knowledge of the sector and work processes it entails.

·         You have experience in the delivery of Healthcare projects, Education or other public sector will also be of benefit in the role.

·         You must have an in-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance for designing buildings.

·         High level of design, skill and technical capability.
