Senior Project Electrical Design Engineer – (Dublin)
Location: Dublin/Hybrid – Remote working options
Kppm are looking to recruit a Senior Project Electrical Design Engineer for our client who are a leading multi award winning Mechanical & Electrical Consulting Engineers who work on: Commercial Offices, Data Centres, Hi-Tech, and Industrial sectors. You will get to work with leading consulting engineers within the residential and commercial sectors including: Healthcare, Residential, Education, Retail, Public Buildings.
You will work independently and in support of the team, ensuring successful completion of designs to meet construction timelines and requirements.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the Electrical Services design for a range of projects.
· Design and specification of electrical services for various types of buildings and sectors.
· Produce detailed schematics.
· Develop the electrical design standards within the organisation.
· Mentor junior engineering staff.
· Provide fully detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on site until project completion.
· Tender report/analysis/recommendations.
· Develop project scope with the design team/client.
· Confidently use Microsoft Office, Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT.
· Produce budgets and reports for clients.
· Attend site visits.
· Take lead on projects with minimal input from the management team.
Education & Experience:
· Suitable candidates must hold an Honours Degree – Chartered an advantage but not essential.
· You must have 10+ years as a Senior Engineer.
· In-depth knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques.
· Deep knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Standards.
· Working knowledge of Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT an advantage.
· Confident leading projects from the concept stage to completion.
· Communicative and able to liaise with clients, architects, and project managers.
· Manage the specification and design of Electrical Building Services systems for a range of projects.
· Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

Salary Negotiable: €65k to €75k depending on experience.
This is a staff position and the salary is €Negotiable depending on experience.
