Senior Project Environmental Scientist (Dublin, Cork or Carlow).

Kppm are looking to recruit a Senior Project Environmental Scientist who will work as an integral member of the Environmental Science team with our client who work on Civil Infrastructure, Waste & Resource Management, Energy, Environmental Sciences and Planning.

You will work on a broad range of areas within the waste management and environmental sectors, including, but not limited to, planning and EIAR, waste management, infrastructure development, waste licensing and permits, industrial emissions licensing, and environmental due diligence.

Responsibilities

•       The Senior Project Environmental Scientist will, amongst other things, be responsible for:

•       Working closely with senior staff in delivering the workload assigned

•       Delivery of individual projects from conception to execution

•       Ensuring that all deliverables meet the expected quality levels and are delivered on time and within budget

•       Coordination and completion of Environmental Impact Assessments, Strategic Environmental Assessments, Appropriate Assessments, planning application documentation, and other environmental assessment/monitoring reports

•       Provide environmental technical assistance to the business

•       Client liaison

•       Assisting with the preparation of proposals

•       Manage the implementation of regulatory approvals

Education & Experience

•       Suitable candidates must be educated to Degree level in a relevant environmental discipline with a minimum of 5-7 years post-graduate experience in an environmental or waste management position

•       Chartered status in relevant discipline is desirable

•       Excellence knowledge of planning, environmental and waste management legislation

•       Proven track record in contribution to the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, planning and licence/permit applications for a wide range of projects

•       Excellent attention to detail

•       Be flexible and a good team player

•       Excellent report writing and technical skills

•       A full driver licence

This is a full time staff position and salary is €Negotiable depending on experience.
