Senior Project Mechanical Engineer – Dublin
Kppm are looking to recruit a Senior Project Mechanical Engineer for our client who are a leading multi award winning Mechanical & Electrical Consulting Engineers who work on: Commercial Offices, Data Centres, Hi-Tech, and Industrial sectors.
The Data Centre team is growing since their successful expansion across Europe and are now seeking a Senior Project Mechanical Engineer.
Responsibilities
· Lead the mechanical services design for a range of projects
· Design and specification of mechanical services for various types of buildings and sectors
· Production of detailed schematics
· Develop the mechanical design standards within the organisation
· Mentoring of other engineering staff
· Provide fully detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on site through to project completion
· Tender report / analysis / recommendations
· Develop project scope with design team / client
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, REVIT an advantage
· Produce budgets and reports for clients
· The role will be primarily office based but will involve some site attendance
· Be capable of taking the lead on projects with minimal input from management team
Education and Experience
· Suitable candidates will have a Degree preferably Mechanical Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
· Chartered an advantage but not essential
· 10+ years experience as a Senior Engineer
· You must be able to lead projects from concept stage to completion
· You must have experience liaising with clients, architects and project managers
· Specification and design of Mechanical Building Services systems for a range of projects
· Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
· Position requires thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques
· Deep knowledge of Building Regulations, CIBSE, BS, IS and EN Standards
· Experience in working as part of a team
· Very good proactive communicator
· You will need to be based in Ireland to be considered for this position
