Sustainability Engineer  (Ireland)  We are looking to recruit a Suitability Engineer for our client on of the largest international engineering company’s globally for their Irish division.  They employ 55,000 people in 40 countries globally and more than 1,100 people employed in their Irish division who work on large scale Hi Tech projects for The Pharmaceutical and Biotech Industry end user clients from Concept Design stage through to Project Handover stage

Due to continued expansion their Sustainably department are looking for a Sustainably Engineer to join their team with the following general responsibilities  assigned to you:

  • Enable guidance for project teams regarding the following Certification process: LEED, BREEAM and WELL.
  • Collaborate with project managers and project teams to evaluate the project needs.
  • Review technical documents.
  • Interact directly with professionals and colleagues in the design and construction phase.
  • Interpreting and reviewing LEED, BREEAM and WELL project documentation. Develop dynamic energy modelling and Life Cycle assessment.

Suitable Applicants must have:  Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) in a field of study related to Engineering (MEP / CSA) plus a minimum of 3 years+ years  experience as an active sustainability project team member for 3 or more green building certified projects including experience creating and assembling documentation.

  • LEED AP certification and preferably BREEAM assessor and WELL AP.
  • Knowledge of design tools (e.g.  AutoCAD and REVIT), including Energy model software IES and LCA tool.
  • Excellent communication skills (writing, speaking, and presenting).
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

This is a permanent staff key role and Salary/Package is currently negotiable depending on experience.
